Daniel Malden by Pip Wright .....NOW AVAILABLE!!!

Daniel Malden was born in 1712 in Ipswich.
By the time he was in his early twenties he was, along with his friend, Dick Turpin, one of the most wanted men in Britain.
He gained particular notoriety as he escaped from the dreaded Newgate Prison twice, once over the rooftops, once down the sewers. In the Suffolk chapters, we visit the areas around Ipswich as well as Newmarket, Bury and Bungay, where he was known to ride as a jockey. We also travel with Dan Malden aboard sailing ships of the time.
The later chapters are set in the East end of London around Whitechapel.
As with my other historical novel, Lydia, virtually everyone in this story actually existed. This book is a novel that attempts to use the existing evidence to get as close to the true story of Daniel Malden as possible
